This is the first in a series of videos featuring garden wildlife found in the Sid Valley, Devon which will be featured on this website.
This video was filmed on a trail cam in a garden on the outskirts of the town and the fox visits every night .. sometimes more than once. Though he most often visits at night, on this occasion he appeared long before dark. His diet consists of any scraps that we may leave for him .. assuming the seagulls and magpies don’t take them first … as well as invertebrates, carrion, rodents, fruit etc.
This fox often takes surplus food away with him and they have a habit of burying extra food for later.
