Silver-washed Fritillary
The Silver-washed Fritillary is our largest fritillary and the orange-hued male is often seen flying in woodland glades, though this one was filmed along the tree-lined edge of the Snodbrook some distance from woods.
The silver-washed in the name refers to the underside of the wings.
