This interactive map records and displays all sites that have been registered as part of the Sid Valley Community Nature Reserve, and demonstrates the expanding network of wildlife-friendly gardens, allotments, orchards, and community plots across the valley.
You can add your location by completing the registration form by clicking the link. It is simple and takes only a few minutes.
How to Use the Map
Pan and Zoom: Click and drag (or swipe on mobile) to move across the map. Use the + and –buttons or scroll to zoom into specific areas of the valley.
Site Details: Click or tap any map marker to open a summary panel for that location.
Links and Media: Clickable links within the marker pop-ups direct you to further information, photos, or dedicated project pages for individual sites.
NB. We are still adding local nature reserves and community land, so please bear with us as it takes time!
Please note that many of the larger sites are placeholders only with very approximate borders. They should not be relied on as being accurate.
