We are focusing on hedges this year. There will be a hedge laying demonstration taking place all day … see how the experts lay hedges.
Then we have a series of talks, walks and displays at the following times (approx).
11.15 for Steve from TDS talking about the Donkey Sanctuary Hedges
12.00 Emily Hobson-Martin will be reading her hedgehog book for children
12.15 Stefan Drew will showing us what is edible in hedges .. clue there are hundreds of edible hedgerow plants
1.15 Ed Dolphin is leading a short guided walk around the ancient and modern hedges within yards of the centre. Some are hundreds of years old.
2.00 The Hog Shack is here to show you how to make your garden hedgehog friendly plus some hedgehog hazards to be avoided.
Plus there are stands on everything from hedgerow biochar to … well, if you come you will discover what else there is!
