Sid Valley Biodiversity Group Photographic Competition 2025
Capture the beauty of nature in all its scales—from the intricate fractals of a microscopic world to the vast skies above the Sid Valley. Every photo tells a story, whether it’s the delicate patterns of a leaf, the symmetry of a snowflake, or the sweeping grandeur of a sunset over the hills, wildlife in our river or in the hills above. Share your unique perspective, from the tiniest details to the grandest vistas!
Competition Rules
There are two age classes – Under 16 & 16 and above
All images should be taken in the Sid Valley.
The competition is only open to amateurs. Images taken by professional photographers are not eligible.
Images that have previously won competitions are not eligible.
A maximum of three entries per person are allowed.
By entering the competition photographers grant SVBG permission for non-commercial use of the submitted images to promote their events and messages at their discretion, but the copyright remains with the photographer.
Digital images should be sent to SidValleyBiodiversity@yahoo.com to arrive no later than 4pm June 8th 2025
Winners will be announced shortly thereafter and will appear on the website subsequently.
Prizes: £50 book token in each class
The judges’ decisions are final.
