Pets and Nature: Reducing your pet’s carbon and biodiversity footprint

Stephen is a veterinary surgeon, secondary school science teacher and One Welfare advocate who moved to Sidmouth in 2008. He has worked in the UK and internationally (including Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Sudan and Afghanistan) primarily on community-based animal health and welfare services. He now focuses on Veterinary Sustainability www.vetwork.org.uk

In this drop-in session, Stephen will provide information, quizzes and conversation about how to reduce the carbon and biodiversity footprint of your pet. This will include types of pets, pet welfare, use of pharmaceuticals and tips to avoid habitat disturbance.
