Join Exeter Science Centre and take part in Operation Earth, a fun family show exploring the amazing stories and science of the environment.
Earthy is feeling a little under the weather and is going to the doctors for a check-up. Join Exeter Science Centre, along with expert scientists, as we investigate what is bothering Earthy. Become a trainee environmental scientist and help us investigate Earthy’s land, air and oceans, and see if together we can find solutions.
The show is a 2-person live interactive show aimed at 6-11 year olds which lasts approximately forty minutes. Afterwards, hands-on activities for around thirty minutes are linked to the show and focus on biodiversity-linked activities including; a biodiversity mat for teaching how to use quadrats and counting insects/plants; a make your own biodegradable pot and plant a wild flower activity; and a microscopy moss safari.
