Enjoy a late evening guided walk through Salcombe Regis valley, led by bat expert Sarah Butcher. An opportunity to see and hear bats in their natural environment and learn more about these fascinating flying mammals. We will be using bat detectors to listen and identify different species. We expect to see pipistrelle, long-eared, and noctule bats.

Terrain
A short section of fairly steep downhill, with moderate uphill return route. The walk will follow a grassy footpath on uneven terrain.
What should I bring
Torch, mosquito repellent, suitable footwear for walking, warm clothes, and waterproofs.
Who should attend
Suitable for everyone with an interest in bats, who can walk 1.5 miles on uneven terrain with some moderate hills. Sorry, no dogs.
