Leader Lead by Chris Patch, wildlife and river officer of Friends of the Byes,a local volunteer organisation run with the specific aim of improving biodiversity and supporting environmental education in the Byes since 2010. |
Details Let Chris give you a guided tour of the amphibian corner in the orchard. Learn about amphibians in general and find out in what ways we support their special environmental needs to enable them to thrive. Chris is also a bird enthusiast, bird feeder and bird box maker and a brilliant observer of nature in general. Be ready to find out some little known, quirky facts about birds in the Byes. |
Type of terrain Level terrain in enclosed dog-free area of the community orchard. Please note the grass is kept long in the orchard, other than the paths that are cut, so wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. |
Who should attend Open to the general public of all ages. Please note, the orchard is a dog-free area. |
